DreamHack Leipzig 2021

The world's strongest e-sportsmen can be seen playing at the festival. The diverse entertainment program includes eSports tournaments, cosplay content, raffles, presentation of innovations of the gaming industry, Dreamstore with the latest soft- and hardware as well as meetings with the stars of the eSports community.

Venue of DreamHack

DreamHack 2021 will take place from January 22 to 24 at the Leipziger Messe territory, which is located at Messe-Allee 1.

The place can be reached from the Leipzig main station with the tram line 16. This takes about 20 minutes. If you want to get to the Messe territory faster, the regional train is the best choice. The S-Bahn lines S2, S5, S5x, and S11 take you directly to Leipzig Messe train station. If you have arrived at the airport, you can take lines S5 or S5x to reach the eSports festival as quickly as possible.

Tournament schedule

The gaming festival continues its tradition and has declared CS: GO as one of the most significant games of the last season. In 2019, e.g. a "The Rocket League" tournament was held where participants could compete against each other on all three festival days. During the DreamHack, you could also participate in games like StarCraft II, League of Legends, and Hearthstone, produced by Blizzard Entertainment. Pokémon Regional Championships have also returned to DreamHack.

DreamHack Leipzig 2021 is also open to visitors aged 12 and over. Previously, entry was limited for children up to 16 years but because of the design of a new hall, younger guests are allowed to visit the exhibition this year.

For the visitors to the exhibition aged 12+, DreamHack Leipzig is organizing a special Hearthstone “Win Winter” tournament as well as the German Casemod Championship, which will be held for the first time at the exhibition.

Please note that guests over the age of 12 are admitted to DreamExpo. Access to the LAN area is allowed for participants aged 18 and over.
