Anse Source d'Argent, Seychelles

La Digue Island, one of the main among the 115 of Seychelles islands, invites you to visit the gem of the world's beaches – the Anse Source d'Argent. Surrounded by pristine nature, it is also protected by coral reefs from the ocean side. Huge boulders, shallow and calm turquoise waters, and white sand of the beach altogether create a skyline of unreal beauty.

The beach is a great place for families (even with small children), and for snorkelling. At the far end of the beach, there are kiosks selling fruit and drinks. Several restaurants and cafés serving Creole cuisine can be also found nearby. There is a canoe and kayak rental located by the beach.

You can access the beach via the national park. To enter, you have to purchase a ticket (about 5€), which is valid all day long.

The period from May to September is the best time to visit the island. The season of rains lasts from November through March.
