How to connect to OTAs

Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) are 3rd party agents whose websites allow travelers to book various travel-related services (e.g., trips, hotels, cars, flights, vacation packages, etc.) directly via the Internet. Businesses have to pay a commission of up to 20% every time they get a booking via OTAs.

With our Channel Manager module, you can send a request for synchronization with the OTA systems.

  1. Choose the Channel Manager module in the menu on the left.
  2. Click Add New channel.
  3. Choose the channel from the drop-down list in the Channel field, and enter the ID of the corresponding channel in the ID field.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Switch the toggle to send a synchronization request.
  6. Please note that your account must be configured in order to connect the Channel manager. If you have any reservations, they must be added or imported into the HotelFriend system. The HotelFriend manager will check your account and contact you as soon as the request is sent.
