How to set up Inventory

HotelFriend offers a robust feature for effectively managing your hotel inventories, providing a seamless way to organize and monitor various resources such as massage tables, bikes, and conference rooms. This short guide will walk you through the process of setting up both single and multi inventories within one Inventory Type.

    Creating a single Inventory

  1. In the left-side menu, select Inventory.
  2. Go to the Inventories tab.
  3. Click on the Add Inventory button.
  4. In the left-side menu, select Inventory. Go to the Inventories tab.

  5. Enter the name and description of the Inventory, select the corresponding Inventory Type, add an Article Number (optionally), and upload a photo.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click on the Add Inventory button. Enter the name and description of the Inventory, select the corresponding Inventory Type, add an Article Number (optionally), and upload a photo. Click Save.

    Note:
    ● By turning the Status toggle on or off, you can activate or deactivate the Inventory.
    ● If additional languages are enabled, switch the system language and input information in the corresponding language.

    Creating a multi-Inventory

  1. In the left-side menu, select Inventory.
  2. Go to the Inventories tab.
  3. Click on the Add Multi Inventory button.
  4. In the left-side menu, select Inventory.Go to the Inventories tab. Click on the Add Multi Inventory button.

  5. Fill in the fields with the following information:
    • Specify the quantity of Inventory in the "From" to "To" fields.
    • Select the Inventory Type from the dropdown list.
    • Enter the names of the Inventories.

  6. Click Create.
  7. With these steps, you can efficiently set up single and multi-inventories for each Inventory Type, enhancing your control over hotel resources within the HotelFriend system.
