How to change the Room Type for an invoiced reservation

There might be a case when you need to change a room type for an invoiced reservation. In HotelFriend, you can do so without creating a new invoice. The latter will display the services that were paid for initially.

Important: This function is only available if the end amount does not change after you change the Room Type. If the hotelier changes the cost of a stay, it is necessary to cancel the created invoice and generate a new one with the correct amount.

Here is how to change the Room Type for a paid reservation:

  1. Go to Reservations and select the reservation that you want to edit.
  2. Go to Reservations and select the reservation that you want to edit.

  3. In the Actions menu, select Move booking.
  4. In the Actions menu, select Move booking.

  5. In the window that opens, mark the Ignore invoice checkbox.
  6. In the window that opens, mark the Ignore invoice checkbox.

  7. Select Room Type and Room if needed.
  8. Select Room Type and Room if needed.

  9. Verify the information and click Confirm.
  10. Verify the information and click Confirm.
