How to set up custom options for Reservations
HotelFriend gives you the flexibility to tailor reservation details by adding custom fields. This feature allows you to collect additional information relevant to your property's workflow, such as the reservation source, visitor purpose, or how guests found your hotel.
Below are instructions on how to set up custom fields for reservations:
- In the menu on the left, click Reservations.
- On the Reservations page, click the Settings button in the upper right corner.
- Turn on the corresponding toggle to display the payer as living in the room by default.
- To display the payer as a guest, turn on the respective toggle.
- In the Custom fields for Reservations section, click the “+” button to add custom options:
- a. To add a reservation source, click the “+” button and enter the name of the source.
- b. To add a visitor’s purpose, click the “+” button and enter the purpose of the visit.
- c. To add a “find out resource”, click the “+” button and enter how the guest found your hotel. To delete any custom option, click the “–” button next to it.
- Click Save.
