How to set up Room Rates
With the Room Rates module, you can set up different prices and conditions for each source that displays prices. Before proceeding to the Room Rates settings, you need to set up the data in the following tabs of this module:
- General - set up accommodation of children and age categories;
- Meal Types - indicate the types of provided food;
- Cancellation policies - indicate individual conditions if the basic ones do not fit;
- City Tax - indicate the size of City Tax if it is charged;
- Cleaning Fees - indicate cleaning parameters if this option is required.
Please note that if you enable Cleaning Fee in the Room Rate, the system will automatically create a one-time obligatory service for booking at this rate.
Here is how to set up Room Rates:
- In the menu on the left, select the Room Rates module and go to the Room Rates tab.
- In the upper right corner, click on the “Add Room Rate” button.
- Fill in the following fields with data in the General Info Block:
- Name;
- Meal price (the system automatically adds the specified price to the accommodation);
- Cancellation;
- Source on which to display prices;
- Cleaning Fee if this service is mandatory.
- Fill in the data in the Rooms to be sold at this Rate block:
- Indicate the cost for each type of accommodation.
- Click on the “Save” button.
It is possible to indicate default prices for all days of the week, as well as indicate the cost for each day of the week.
Please note that the system adds the cost of Extra Bed, as well as the cost of accommodating children to the accommodation of adults. If a certain type of room or accommodation is not provided for this Rate, you should uncheck the checkbox.
