Nestled in the charming town of Eckernförde on the Baltic Sea, DLRG Gästehaus provides comfortable and affordable accommodations just 200 meters from the sandy beach.

Designed to serve schools, groups, clubs, kindergartens, youth trips, and even corporate seminars and team-building events, the guesthouse offers 25 rooms and six versatile conference rooms. Operated by a voluntary association, its primary clientele includes its members, making internal bookings the core of its operations.

To continue offering a seamless guest experience, the guesthouse required modern software to manage group bookings, invoicing, housekeeping, and payment processing, while maintaining its personalized touch and avoiding the need for third-party channel management.

This engine was styled to reflect the property’s branding and included a built-in chat function for real-time communication between guests and staff.
  • Integrated payment infrastructure: HotelFriend equipped DLRG Gästehaus with a secure cloud payment solution. This included hardware—a Castles AMS1 Terminal provided on request—to allow safe, fast, and reliable payment processing at the front desk.
