Guest emails no longer displayed on Airbnb: How to communicate with your guests
As of August 17th, 2020, Airbnb stopped sending guest emails for reservations and retired the email alias feature. However, you can still use Airbnb messaging and phone numbers. For more information, please visit Airbnb´s Resource Center.
If you want to continue sending emails to guests, you just need to turn this feature on in a setting that is in the “attestation form” under the professional hosting tools.
Follow the steps below to keep using the Airbnb guest email alias feature:
- Click on 'Account'.
- Go to the 'Professional Hosting tools' section.
- Click on the 'Allow me to email documents to guests' toggle to enable this option again.

Please note that Airbnb updated its Off-Platform policy. Before submitting the attestation form, make sure you have reviewed it in order to avoid policy violations when emailing your guests.
