How to set up Services
Hotels provide a wide array of basic and additional services such as food service, laundry, massage room, gym, conference room, and others. The HotelFriend PMS has a large library of ready-made and customized services that any hotelier can import into their database.
To allow your guests to view and book offered services, you need to set them up in your system. Here is how to do that:
Important: For the Add Service button to appear in the system, you must import at least 1 service from the HotelFriend system.
- Go to Services and click Create Service.
- Fill in the following fields:
- Add the name of the service in the Name field
- Add the Article Number (optional)
- Select the corresponding Service Category and Department from the list
- Upload additional information and specify Wait Minutes and Duration Time if necessary
- Click Upload images, and select an image from your device which complies with the parameters recommended by the system. After uploading the image, click Done.
- In the Price type block, fill in the following fields:
- The Option value (e.g., Per Person, 200 ml, 60 min, 1 kg, 1 time)
- The Price for a specified option
- To add more Options, click on the “+” button. To remove an Option, click on the “-” button.
- Click Save and activate.
In this step, you can also enter a description of the service in the Description field.
If the service is provided at a discount, turn on the Price toggle in the Featured column and specify the price including the discount. You can reorder the list of Options by dragging them up and down the list.
Important: If you provide services in multiple languages, you should go to the service that you have already set up to open the Edit Service window. Here, switch the language to another one, and enter the information about the service in this language.
