How to work with Virtual Credit Cards
You can replenish Virtual Credit Cards via Stripe. However, there are a few things to keep in mind.
To be able to debit Virtual Credit Cards, you need to contact Stripe and ask them to set your MCC code to 7011. If this option is not activated, Stripe does not accept Virtual Credit Cards from OTAs (Online Travel Agencies).
Booking.com and Expedia
If you work with Virtual Credit Cards from Booking.com or Expedia, you can charge them via Stripe.
First, you need to make a CVC / CVV code obligatory in settings. To do this, you need to contact Booking.com. Without this code, Stripe will not be able to charge the card.
Due to the nature of Virtual Credit Cards from Booking.com and Expedia, they are not automatically accepted by Stripe and therefore will not be automatically saved.
Agoda
Agoda Virtual Cards are automatically saved in Stripe. Agoda cards that start with 553397 will not be saved in Stripe. In this case, you will need to contact Agoda and request a different payment method.
