How to configure a prepayment policy

In the HotelFriend system, you can set up a prepayment policy along with your hotel’s cancellation policy. The rules of prepayment will be displayed in the Booking Engine if your Room Rate was created with the respective source and cancellation policy.

Here is how to configure a prepayment policy in a few steps:

  1. On the left-side menu, select Room Rates and go to the Cancellations & Prepayments tab.
  2. On the left-side menu, select Room Rates and go to the Cancellations & Prepayments tab.

  3. To create a new prepayment policy, select Add prepayment & cancellation policy. To edit an existing prepayment policy, select Edit on the action menu.
  4. To create a new prepayment policy, select Add prepayment & cancellation policy. To edit an existing prepayment policy, select Edit on the action menu.

  5. Enter the name of the policy in the Name field.
  6. In the Prepayment Option field, choose a suitable option from the drop-down list.
  7. Set up a booking cancellation policy and check the description.
  8. Select Save.
  9. In the Prepayment Option field, choose a suitable option from the drop-down list.
