Product Updates v. 4.4.0: Enhanced navigation with a revamped main menu

This time, we have made various enhancements to improve the user experience. We’ve reorganized the main menu a bit, added a custom color-coding system for reservation statuses, and improved editing orders. Get ready to explore and enjoy the new features!

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Better navigation with a new menu structure

In this update, we’ve reorganized the menu structure for optimal use. Settings have been moved from General to the modules they pertain to for easier access. This includes:

Reservations module

We’ve moved Custom fields for Reservations from Settings > General to Reservations > Settings.

Guests module

Guest-related settings are now relocated from Settings > General to Guests > Settings. This allows you to set up and manage Guest statuses, Genders, Custom fields for Guests, and Gender title translations right in the “Guests” module.

For a smoother and more focused accounting experience, related settings tabs are now moved from Settings and Reports to Accounting > Settings.

Arrangements module

Our Sold Deals module was rebranded to Arrangements. This module is further segregated into Packages (former “Deals”), Arrangements, and Reservation packages which contain all the reservations that were included in the packages for a more categorized view along with an updated menu structure.

2. More improvements to the Reservations module

We have now changed the term “booking” to “reservation” throughout the module for the sake of consistency in terminology.

Furthermore, you can now try a new feature for reservation status color coding located at Settings > General > Status colors. This enables you to assign distinctive colors to various reservation statuses such as “New”, “Booking Offer”, “Confirmed”, and so forth, adding a touch of personalization.

3. Unified Edit order modal window

With a great focus on offering a seamless experience, we have reformed our modal windows.

Now, you can edit the order, order items, apply discounts, and manage tips, all in a single window. Additionally, we have replaced the Reservation and Room fields with the more relevant Search and Delivery to fields that evolved from the order creation mode.
