Guest Facing v. 3.19.0: Improved self-check-in flows for Kiosk and advanced search for services

This update brings enhanced distributor tracking, a quicker self-check-in process, and smarter service search on the Booking Engine and Kiosk. With upgraded maps and sleek visual improvements, managing your hotel just got even more intuitive!

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Enhanced tracking for multiple distributors on the Booking Engine

We’ve launched a powerful new feature to enhance tracking of bookings made through your partners. You can now generate unique links for distributors such as tour operators and partner businesses, which they can share on their platforms, directing traffic to your booking engine. These links allow you to monitor the source of each booking, delivering valuable insights into distributor performance and helping you identify and strengthen your most effective partnerships.

2. Simplified self-check-in by guest name on Kiosk

The Kiosk now supports a faster, simpler self-check-in process. Guests can check in by simply entering their first and last names. After selecting the 'Authorization via Guest Name' option in the Self Check-in section, guests can enter their full name, pick their reservation from a list, and complete the check-in process with ease.

3. Improved early check-in flow for key card encoding on Kiosk

We’ve enhanced the key card encoding process for early arrivals via the Kiosk. Previously, guests attempting to encode a room key before the designated check-in time would encounter an error. Now, the system proactively notifies guests that it’s too early and advises them to try again when their check-in window opens, improving the overall user experience.

4. More precise service search across categories on the Booking Engine and Kiosk

Searching for services on the Booking Engine and Kiosk has become more intuitive. Guests no longer need to navigate into specific categories. The search function now spans all categories, ensuring guests can easily locate any item or service, regardless of their starting point in the interface.

5. Switch from Google Maps to Leaflet on Booking Engine and Multi-Booking Engine

We’ve upgraded the mapping functionality on the Booking Engine and Multi Booking Engine by replacing Google Maps with Leaflet maps, providing a smoother, more customizable map experience.

6. Easier management of the Booking Engine’s title and meta description

The data such as titles and meta descriptions entered in the Booking Engine’s SEO settings will now automatically populate the appropriate sections of the booking calendar. This helps improve visibility and ensures consistent branding across key areas of your booking platform.
