What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Restricted cancellation and modification of bookings from channels

If the booking comes from an external channel, it now will have restrictions on cancellations and modifications. Specifically, we restrict the extension of such bookings in the system. When you try to cancel such booking via the Booking Engine, you will receive a message that this reservation was registered through another channel, and you need to change it via the platform you booked on. This policy is designed to prevent data mismatches and ensure consistency across all booking platforms.

2. Improved check-ins via Kiosk for more flexible guest arrivals

Guests arriving early can now bypass the input of information related to other guests in the booking. After the first guest has checked in, subsequent guests can add their details to the reservation later at their convenience. This feature allows each guest to check in and create key cards independently at the kiosk.

3. Mobile adaptation of key Kiosk components

The Main Page, Self Check-in, Self Check-out modules, and Room Booking page are now mobile-friendly! All crucial features available on the Kiosk are fully functional on smartphones and tablets.

4. Minor fixes and visual improvements

  • ● Implemented a display for guest field validation on the "Edit Profile" page in the Booking Engine.
  • ● Rectified the issue causing a blank screen on 'My Trips' until content loads on the Kiosk.
  • ● Updated the layout to include the room number on Safari within the Booking Engine.
  • ● Added an error toast notification for failed payment methods.
