What’s new for hoteliers?
1. Streamlined multi-room booking in the cart
Introducing a streamlined cart experience on the HotelFriend Booking Engine. Within the “Detailed” mode view, guests can now add multiple rooms to the cart simultaneously. If the number of adults exceeds five, you can effortlessly specify the number of rooms for each room type, facilitating a quicker booking process.
2. Introducing custom fields for Booking Engine buyer information and fast check-in forms
Our latest update empowers you to create custom fields for the buyer information section and fast check-in forms on the Booking Engine and Remote Reception. Navigate to Settings > General > Custom Options, where you can easily add, name, edit, and specify the display location for custom fields. This customization ensures that your Booking Engine aligns perfectly with your hotel's requirements.
3. Added a feature for seamless pre-payments
We've introduced a new feature that allows you to facilitate pre-payments directly from the Booking Engine. By enabling the Prepayment option in the PMS, users will see a notification in the shopping cart, indicating that a certain sum will be charged as a prepayment to proceed with the reservation.
4. Fixes and visual improvements
In our commitment to delivering a flawless user experience, we've also addressed several minor issues:
- ● Corrected alignment of facility items in the facility block within deals.
- ● Improved layout in the floating cart for a more cohesive appearance.
- ● Improved validation for the "Phone" field in the "My Profile" section, ensuring accurate input values.
- ● Refined the layout of the hotel list, addressing border concerns in the floating cart.
- ● Enhanced the appearance of the "Assign Room" dropdown in the shopping cart for better usability.
