We are excited to announce a series of new solutions aimed at enhancing the experience for our hotel partners. Designed to improve guest satisfaction and provide greater flexibility, they further automate the complex task of daily property management.
What’s new for hoteliers?
1. Enhanced “Invoice Detail” emails with payment links
In this update, we’ve improved the “Invoice Detail” email to include a payment link for all supported payment providers.
If an invoice is created with the status “Expected” (partially or not fully paid), you can use the “Create & Send Invoice to Guest” function by clicking on the three dots next to the invoice. This feature sends an email to the guest with a “Pay Now” button and payment link, enabling seamless payment via Adyen, Stripe, or PayPal.
2. Extended Salto integration capabilities with the SHIP protocol
We have enhanced our integration with Salto, a provider of advanced electronic locking solutions.
The newly integrated Salto SHIP protocol allows guests to open digital door locks with their smartphones and for hoteliers – to set up different access zones for guests and staff within the building. You can also view the list of locks that a specific guest is authorized to open.
3. A new “City Tax Reports” tab is now available upon request
Based on customer feedback, we have added a new “City Tax Reports” tab in the reporting section. This report compiles all information about City Tax for a selected period and calculates the total amounts. It is available upon customer request, providing hoteliers with a detailed and accurate summary of city tax obligations.
4. Improved Automation module features
This time, we have introduced several enhancements to the Automation module:
● Added a default validity period of 72 hours for booking offers if the “Booking Offer Cancellation” automation is disabled. This ensures that booking offers remain valid for a reasonable period, giving guests ample time to confirm their reservations while preventing stale offers from cluttering the system.
● Created permission for the "Add Custom Role" button to restrict this feature to the Hotel Admin role. This enhancement improves security by ensuring that only authorized personnel can create custom roles, helping maintain control over user permissions and access levels within the hotel management system.
5. A possibility to show or hide prices in the Booking Engine calendar
We’ve added a toggle “Show the prices in the calendar” in the Booking Engine settings.
By default, this toggle is enabled, allowing guests to see prices on the booking calendar. When it’s disabled, prices will not be displayed. This new setting gives hoteliers greater flexibility in how they present pricing information to potential guests.
6. Improved the booking information modal on the Front Desk
We have improved the display of guest information on the Front Desk. If the person who pays for the booking (listed as the “Payer”) is staying in the room, their name will appear in both the “Payer” and “Guests” columns.
If they are not staying in the room, their name will only appear in the “Payer” column, and the “Guests” column will show those who are staying in the room. This enhancement provides clearer and more accurate information about room occupancy and payment responsibilities.
5. Minor fixes and visual improvements
- ● Resolved the date selection issue in the "Add Booking" modal, now showing dates beyond 2024.
- ● Fixed the issue where an additional guest added to a reservation incorrectly became the main guest.
- ● Corrected the creation time in the PDF report to match the hotel's time zone.
- ● Fixed the issue where the report date range was selected incorrectly.
