Meet flexible multi-tiered cancellation policies, stronger security with two-factor authentication, and more tailored guest communications in our new product update.

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Flexible cancellation policies for better control

We’ve enhanced our cancellation policy settings to provide greater flexibility and precision. Now, you can set up multi-tiered cancellation fees, enabling you to tailor cancellation charges based on specific timelines.

For example, you can offer free cancellation up to 90 days before a reservation, and at the same time charge 50% up to 30 days prior, and 100% the day before. You can even configure fees for cancellations on the day of arrival, just hours before check-in, or create fully custom settings that meet your unique needs.

2. Enhanced security with two-factor authentication for user login in the PMS

You can configure two-factor authentication for users of our system. To do this, in Settings > Employees, in the worker's profile, you need to check the box next to “Use 2FA.”

When 2FA is enabled, users will receive a code via email, which must be entered to access the platform. Users must enter the code every 24 hours if the setting is enabled.

3. Personalized guest communication with gender titles

We’ve updated our system to include gender titles in guest communications. Here’s what’s new:

  • ● Gender titles are now automatically included in email communications and invoices.
  • ● The default invoice text has been updated to address guests with their title: "Dear {title} {name}, we hereby take the following items into account."
  • ● Guest titles now appear in the invoice header.
  • ● When selecting templates for emails, you can edit the salutation. If no gender is specified, "Mr." will be used by default.

4. Enhanced the reservations grid for easier management

We’ve improved the booking link within the reservations grid, making it more accessible and user-friendly. This enhancement lets you quickly access and manage individual bookings directly from the grid, reducing the steps required to view or edit reservation details.

5. Added a direct link to the guest profile in Accounting

Now you can make use of a direct link to guest profiles within the accounting grid, that provides a seamless connection between financial data and guest information. You can effortlessly navigate between accounting records and guest profiles, and easily cross-reference and update data without the need to switch between different sections of the platform.

6. Minor fixes and visual improvements

  • ● Fixed issues with country and phone details not saving in the booking modal.
  • ● Inactive room rates are now properly hidden from the booking options.
  • ● Resolved VAT and custom room rate issues when moving bookings.
  • ● Corrected quota adjustments by fixing multiple delete requests.
  • ● Fixed tokenization errors and improved company invoice payments.
  • ● Adjusted UI elements for smoother navigation and usability on the invoice creation page and other settings.
