Explore our latest release that empowers you to automate your daily tasks and engage more deeply with guests, from pre-stay interactions to quick feedback collection via directly embedded links in your email templates.

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Switching between different invoice layouts in the Invoice tab

In our latest release, we've introduced an enhanced feature that allows for more straightforward navigation between invoice layouts. Within the General > Invoice tab in settings, you'll now notice options to select either “Invoice with NET positions” or “Invoice with GROSS positions,” located under the Items block.

Moreover, you now can specify the "Accommodation count" as either "Per stay" or "Per night". This change applies to all forms of invoices, including cancellation invoices and those with cancellation fees.

2. A new way to manage sales channels for deals

Our recent update helps you harness control over your deal's distribution channels. Recognizing that for some establishments, the ability to limit deal visibility to a select guest pool is vital, we've added a feature to the Deal settings.

This addition enables you to choose if the deals are offered exclusively at the reception, solely through the Booking Engine, or through both channels.

3. Cancellation policy selection for deals

Managing deal cancellation policies is now simpler with our new update. Within the “Edit Deal” settings, you'll now find a Cancellation Policy selector. Here, you can choose a specific policy best suited to your deal, facilitating clearer communication with your customers regarding cancellation terms.

4. Introducing more efficient accommodation pricing logic

We've upgraded our accommodation pricing to cater more effectively for rooms that may house more guests than the allocated rate limit. For instance, if a room's rate is based on 5 people, but the room allows more, you can now add the extra guests and calculate the added cost with an updated, more efficient formula.

This new logic applies to all modal windows in the system, while the Booking Engine and other channels remain unchanged. All extra services such as meals are calculated and added as they would be in a standard booking.

5. Improved Custom fields for Guest feature in Guest Settings

We've revamped “Custom fields” for guests in the Guest Settings section. There's now a new "Type of Field" column that makes it easier for you to create new customized fields. Furthermore, we've added options allowing you to choose where these fields will be displayed within the system, whether that be the Booking Engine, Guest App, or Front Desk. This offers more flexibility in how you gather and manage guest information.

6. Automated email issue alerts with solution strategies

To proactively address any problems with SMTP settings, we've introduced a feature that keeps hoteliers updated whenever issues arise. Should an error occur that affects outgoing emails to guests, the hoteliers will receive an immediate email notification and will also be provided with feasible solutions to rectify the problem. In addition, their SMTP settings will be temporarily disconnected to prevent further complications.

7. Live preview for Calendar widget customization

Enjoy an improved customization experience in the Booking Engine settings, specifically in the Calendar tab. Whether you're tweaking the Background color, Primary color, or the Search button color with the help of our convenient color picker, you can now view the changes in real-time within the preview section.

8. Automatic change of booking status after guest completes Self Check-In

To simplify the check-in process, we have introduced a new toggle titled "Change the Reservation Status after Self Check-In" in the Booking Engine settings. Upon activation, this toggle enables the automatic transition of the reservation status to "Checked In" once a guest completes the Self Check-In procedure.

9. New toggle in Room Rates settings for easier Booking Offer quota management

Added a new feature in the Room Rates settings under the Quota Settings tab to give you greater control over your Booking Offers. Now, you can choose whether a Booking Offer will immediately impact the quota upon creation or only after the Booking Offer is accepted by the guest. 

Turning the toggle on will trigger quota changes right after Booking Offer creation while turning it off ensures that the quota is affected only upon approval of the offer by the guest.

10. Better logic for payments, refunds, and invoice cancellations

In our continual commitment to streamlining your financial transactions, we have enhanced the logic of payments, refunds, and invoice cancellations. Here's what you can do now.

● Invoice payments moved to guest balance: You can now add payment from a guest's balance to a new invoice. Let's say a reservation has been made and the related invoice was paid, you can choose to hold the payment in the guest's balance. This makes future transactions more efficient.

● Partial invoice refunds: We've added the option to process partial refunds for invoices. Gain more flexibility to manage refunds based on the unique situations of your hotel bookings.

● Balance retention on invoice refund: While processing a "refund invoice" action, you now have the possibility to retain the payments in the guest or company balance. Conserve resources and prevent unnecessary fund transfers.

11. More flexibility with “Out of Service” status for inventory items

In our latest update, we’ve introduced a feature to mark Inventory items as "Out of Service" during specific timeframes. You can access and control this function directly from both the Inventory and Inventory Scheduler pages, enabling you to effectively designate periods when the item will be unavailable for bookings.

To accommodate varying operational needs, you can create multiple “Out of Service” periods, and rest assured these will be clearly displayed on the Inventory Scheduler for easy reference.

12. The “After guest departure” email automation logic has been improved

We've made significant enhancements to our “After guest departure” automation for emails. You can now specify the exact number of days after guest check-out that an email should be sent, right down to the specific hour.

This way, you can maintain timely and effective communication with your guests. What's more, this automation only applies to reservations with “Due out” and “Checked out” statuses, ensuring the emails are sent after the guest actually departs.

13. Invoice creation enhanced for the “Bank Transfer” payment method on Booking Engine

Meet upgraded invoice creation process for bookings using the "Bank Transfer" payment method on the Booking Engine. Now, when a booking does not require prepayment and guests choose "Bank Transfer" as their preferred payment method, an expected invoice is automatically generated. Such an invoice reflects the open amount the guest needs to pay and is promptly emailed to the guest.

14. New type of country selection in the company creation card

We've improved the user experience by changing the Country field in the Company creation card to a dropdown format, making selecting a country quicker and more accurate. The update is applied to several areas, including the “Add Booking” modal, where it speeds up the booking process, the “Correct Invoice” action, and the “Change Payer” action, making it easier to switch payers.

15. New URL field for feedback links in email templates

Check out our upgraded email template functionality, where we added a URL field specifically for feedback links. This enhancement allows you to effortlessly include a direct link to your feedback form within emails, making it simpler for recipients to provide their valuable input.

16. Improved calculation for average rate value in History & Forecast

The Room Revenue in the History Section is now calculated per room for each booking, aligning it with the methodology used in the Forecast section. Additionally, the average rate in the Subtotal Section is now accurately computed by considering only the days with occupancy and excluding days without guests.

17. Further refinement of the Feratel integration

We've made significant refinements to our Feratel integration to improve its reliability and accuracy. Enhancements include upgrading our validator to handle cases where Country or Nationality entries are not in a valid ISO format. Additionally, the form is now sent during booking modifications but not at check-in, streamlining the data flow. We also addressed several issues related to mass check-ins. 

18. Minor fixes and visual improvements

  • ● Replaced the Country text input with a dropdown in the "Correct Invoice" action.
  • ● Added room number column to the Order grid.
  • ● The delete guest confirmation now opens instantly, with the 'Delete' button enabled.
  • ● Fixed the 'No-show' fee logic to charge the Final cancellation fee when applicable.
  • ● Resolved an issue saving invoice changes with tokenized Stripe cards.
  • ● Fixed error when canceling bookings under the "Nights of reservation" condition.
  • ● Improved layout of the booking creation modal view.
  • ● Fixed the calendar view issue on the guest's email tab.
