Product Updates v.3.54.0: redesigned invoicing and payments

Here is a full list of what’s new in HotelFriend this week:

1. New design and flow for invoicing and payments

a. added steps of invoice creation: choose positions from guests, select person/company as invoice payer, choose a payment method and create an invoice;

b. invoice status now depends on the type of payment method: create a “Paid” invoice (when such payment methods selected: Cash, credit cards, Stripe, Skonto) or create “Expected” invoice with the date (PayPal and bank transfer);

c. added specific comments per payment method;
d. payments to open invoices can now be done as partial payments.

2. Added new option

Add/Remove reservation to/from the group booking: action on Front Desk booking details modal, reservations grids and views, group page.

3. Tasks list

a. added an option to create a task for department/employee with the ability to choose an order and/or create remainder for assignee;
b. added filter by status, and tabs ToDo/Done.

4. Added Task scheduler to Tasks module with such features

a. create a task by drag-and-drop or by clicking a button;
b. view task on the scheduler with its assignee, start and end  time, and the number of tasks for department employee for the selected day;
c. check tasks details inside modal when clicked on task;
d. filter tasks by department or by employee.

5. Company

Added Promo Code field, which allows applying company discount from Booking Button.

6. Reservations and Groups grids

Unified actions for creating different types of reservations.

7. Reservation status is now automatically set to "Due In" if it was created with check-in date “today”.

8. Fixed:

a. “Add booking” modal: no validation when adding the accommodation when Custom price selected;
b. “Featured” switcher in Service;
c. UI/UX issues.
