Welcome back to HotelFriend product updates. Recently, we’ve added a new feature for managing billing items and made key improvements you can now take advantage of. Let's review what's new and what’s changed below.
1. Added a new feature for managing billing items
Added a new feature for managing billing items which makes checking out reservations more flexible. Collect billing items and invoice a paymaster at any time.
a. Guest edit view: added an option to set a guest as a paymaster;
b. Guests module: added “Paymasters” tab;
c. “Move billing items” action added to the list of actions in reservation and guests to move billing items to another guest or a paymaster.
2. Group reservation
Added actions for checking-in/out selected reservations at once.
Displayed housekeeping notes from reservation and guest, “Vacant” or reservation status.
4. Housekeeping report
Added floor selection.
5. Front Desk
Displayed comment to out of service period.
6. Payment details view
Displayed correct payment details based on a payer and on selected payment methods.
a. Deep linking;
b. City tax view: wrong date picker format;
c. Cashier empty in payment when creating order with immediate payment;
d. Children age on reservation edit modal for reservations from Booking Engine;
e. UI improvements on grids and translation fixes.
