1. Introducing payments and key card encoding for Remote Reception
We've enhanced our Remote Reception with additional settings to provide a more polished user experience. Now this feature allows guests to not just securely input their PIN, share personal information, and capture document photos, but also efficiently settle payments and encode room access cards.
In this update, we're introducing two new settings that help our users to do just that: the Payment Page and the Door Lock Page.
The Payment Page allows guests to pay bills before check-in
Enable guests to pay during self-check-in via the Terminal (Adyen integration), available for Adyen-enabled hotels. Look out for more options in future updates.
The Door Lock Page allows guests to encode room key cards
Simplify the check-in process further with the Door Lock Step. Guests can independently encode their key cards or tags, catering specifically to hotels integrated with Salto SVN.
These enhancements not only elevate the Remote Reception experience but also offer hoteliers greater flexibility and customization in providing a quick check-in process for their guests.
2. Streamlined flow and clear financial insights for Adyen payments
We've expanded functionality for hoteliers, now allowing payments not only for invoices but also for booking balances through the terminal. Previously, Adyen payments were only possible at the time of creating an invoice. With the new "Add payment" feature, you can now send payment requests to the terminal without creating an invoice.
We've also enhanced the display of Adyen payments in invoices and reports, ensuring card brands match standard payment methods for clearer financial oversight and accuracy. Additionally, you can now pay exclusively for orders through Adyen using the "Add order" feature.
3. Greater flexibility for “Booking Offer” reservations
For bookings in the Booking Offer status, we've added the ability to modify time periods, rooms, rates, cancellation policies, add and change guests, and created a comprehensive PDF Booking Offer overview. This overview can be sent to guests for manual confirmation or works automatically, offering a clear presentation of booking details.

4. Enabling early check-in times within Salto SVN integration
We've aligned early check-in time with key-card validity, ensuring room access control synchronizes with guest check-in. Now, you can set a custom early check-in time and encode the card earlier to streamline the check-in process.
5. Reservations from Channel improvements for better management
Booking cancellations incoming from the Channel Manager now align with the hotel’s cancellation policy, automatically generating an invoice with the fees for canceled reservations.
Additionally, we’ve added the ability to view the ages of children associated with bookings through the Channel Manager. With this enhancement, this information will now be prominently displayed on the reservation card, as well as being accessible on the Front Desk and various other sections of the system.
6. Order creation without mentioning the guest's name
We've streamlined the order creation process by adding an option to create, edit, and issue invoices for orders without specifying the guest's information. This is particularly useful for hotels selling services to both guests and other visitors.
7. Fixes and visual improvements
- a) Refined VAT display in DATEV export reports for tips and payment methods, aligning invoice creation dates with financial records.
- b) Improved guest information display and invoice creation modal window for smoother transitions from guest to company bookings.
- c) Addressed VAT calculation issues for bookings with 0% VAT, ensuring accuracy in financial documentation.
- d) Enhanced company selection in the second step of the invoice creation process.
- e) Resolved inventory creation issues for streamlined inventory management.
- f) Corrected actions within Move Charges in Reservations for better operational efficiency.
- g) Updated task status change mechanisms on the Task page, improving task management.
- h) Refined comments feature in the Cash Book, resolving issues with special characters.
