Berlin, July 3, 2026 – HotelFriend AG, a Berlin-based provider of all-in-one hotel software for the DACH market, has announced the release of its new feature, Custom Reservation Views. The update is designed to help hotels better organize reservation data and streamline daily front office workflows.
HotelFriend introduces greater flexibility in how reservation information is displayed and managed, allowing hotel teams to adapt the system to their individual operational needs. The new functionality is part of a broader set of usability improvements within the reservation module
Custom, Saved Reservation Tabs for Every Workflow
With the new Custom Reservation Views feature, hoteliers can create their own saved views (tabs), in addition to the default Reservations and Groups tabs.
Each custom tab can:
- ● Display guest name, arrival, and departure information
- ● Be refined with filters such as check-in/check-out date, meal plan, room rate, and room number
- ● Apply reservation statuses such as New, Confirmed, Due In, etc. as filters
- ● Arrange results in columns for quick scanning
This means one view can be built to focus on upcoming arrivals and rate types, while another can be centered on today's and tomorrow's check-ins and check-outs - each staying focused on its own relevant data without extra noise.
Hoteliers can also add as many extra tabs as they need and delete any custom tab that is no longer useful. Default tabs cannot be removed. Access to this feature is controlled through the "Custom tabs manage" permission.
The update aims to support faster task execution, improved visibility of key booking information, and more efficient coordination between teams. By enabling more structured and personalized views, HotelFriend continues to enhance its platform to meet the evolving requirements of modern hotel operations.
