Product Updates v. 3.101.0: Revamped billing process and cancellation of multiple bookings

In this update, we've improved the billing process, introduced a flexible reservation cancellation feature, and added multilingual support for hotel terms and conditions. Check out the details below!

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Split charges among the guest, company and Paymaster

Hoteliers can now split charges among the guest, company, and paymaster, streamlining billing with separate invoices for enhanced accuracy and transparency. Additionally, it's now possible to divide charges into multiple parts for a single guest and their company, allowing for even greater flexibility in billing.

How to use this feature:

● Anywhere the Charges tab appears, select checkboxes for not invoiced charges and choose "Split charges" from the dropdown menu.

● The updated Split Charges modal allows splitting charges not just between different guests but also among the same guest, companies, and paymaster in any combination. For example, a business traveler can split lodging expenses between their personal and company accounts.

● After splitting, charges will display the relevant Paymaster or company name, making it easier to filter charges and generate invoices accordingly.

2. Improved “Door Lock PIN code” automation

This feature is designed for hotels that do not have door lock system integrations with our platform, allowing them to manually send door lock PIN codes to guests. To reduce confusion, this automation will now only be displayed for hotels without existing Door Lock integrations.

3. Added “Cancel reservations” action for multiple bookings

Hoteliers now have the convenience of canceling multiple bookings simultaneously with the new "Cancel reservations" action. This feature provides flexibility, allowing hoteliers to choose between free cancellation or adherence to the hotel's cancellation policy. Each reservation will be canceled according to the selected option.

4. Enhanced Hotel Terms and Conditions in Settings > General

We've elevated the Hotel Terms and Conditions feature in Settings > General to provide a more tailored experience. Now, hoteliers can download the Terms and Conditions document for each language utilized in the hotel. These documents will then be displayed on the Booking Engine, aligning with the guest's selected language.

5. Minor fixes and visual improvements

We've addressed a couple of issues to fine-tune your experience:

  • ● Corrected the display of guest data entered during reservation on the Booking Engine to ensure seamless integration with the Property Management System.
  • ● Rectified the date format in exported Payment Reports for consistency and clarity in data presentation..
