What’s new?

1. Wi-Fi credentials now visible in the Concierge app

The Wi-Fi login and password are now visible directly within the app, making it easier than ever for guests to connect to your network without needing to call the front desk or search for printed instructions. This feature helps streamline the arrival experience and reduces common guest inquiries.

2. Language selection available for custom fields in registration forms

The language settings in the Concierge App now fully match the configurations in the HotelFriend PMS. Hoteliers can add a language selection dropdown as a custom field in Guest > Settings. All languages activated in the PMS will automatically appear as options in the guest registration form within the app, ensuring a consistent multilingual experience.

3. Smart Room Control with Loxone integration

We’ve introduced a new feature for properties using smart room technology: Loxone integration is now available in the Concierge App. A new button labeled “Smart Room Control” has been added to the booking details screen.

When tapped, this opens a window listing all connected smart devices in the guest's room. At this stage, the controller interface is tailored exclusively for heating, and it allows guests to adjust the temperature in their rooms right from their smartphones.

4. General usability improvements

  • ● Guests with outstanding payments now see a clear message during Self Check-out instead of a generic error.
  • ● Service options in the app are now displayed more clearly: if no name is provided in the portal, the app will automatically show the duration (e.g., "45 min") or the price as the option title. If a name is entered, the duration will appear in parentheses next to it.
  • ● We've also enabled prepayment for service bookings in the Concierge App and introduced the ability to block cancellations for channel bookings.
