Deutsch With Product Update v4.31, we introduced three improvements: flexible invoice strategies for long-stay bookings, faster rate management with extended filters, and safer room setup with a new Draft status, all designed to save time and reduce manual work.
1. Invoice strategy for long-stay bookings - choose how the stay is billed
A new Invoice strategy dropdown in the Add Booking and Add Group Booking modals lets staff choose how to invoice a stay when "Create invoice" is enabled:
- ● Whole booking - one invoice for the entire stay, generated upfront (default)
- ● First rate - first billing cycle only; later periods handled automatically by the monthly automation
Full control over long-stay billing from the moment of booking, with no manual follow-up needed.
2. Extended filters on the unified Rates page - find the right rate faster
The unified Rates page gains two new filters for hotels with many rates:
- ● Condition - filter derived rates by pricing rule
- ● Season range - filter seasonal pricing by date
Both sit alongside the existing Meals, Cancellation policy, and Source filters, with every filter consistently showing matching derived and seasonal rates grouped under their parent base rate. Faster rate management with fewer clicks, no more scrolling through long rate lists. Requires Rates management or Virtual rates management permission.
3. Draft status for rooms - set rooms up before publishing
A new Draft status lets hoteliers mark a room as not yet ready while it is still being set up. Draft rooms cannot be booked and stay hidden from guests and availability reports until you are ready to publish them:
- ● Fully editable in the admin panel at any time
- ● Hidden from guests and excluded from availability reports
- ● Clearly separated from "Out of Order" (broken or under repair)
- ● Moves freely between Draft, Active, and Out of Order with the same safeguards applied
No more accidental bookings for rooms that are not ready - publish only when everything is in place.
With Product Update v4.31, hoteliers get full control over long-stay invoicing from the moment of booking, faster navigation through complex rate structures with fewer clicks, and the confidence that rooms go live only when they are truly ready.
