Product Update v4.32 brings three improvements: personalized reservation views, support for multiple channel managers at once, and bulk actions for Housekeeping. All built to save time and give hoteliers more control over daily operations.
1. Custom Reservation tabs - see only what matters to your team
Build your own saved reservation tabs in Reservation Settings, each with pre-applied filters:
- ● Create views by department, status, date range, or any mix that fits your workflow
- ● Each team sees the list that matters to them, no more re-filtering every shift
- ● Requires the Custom tabs manage permission
Different roles like front desk, housekeeping, and revenue management each need a different slice of the reservation list. Re-filtering it manually every shift wastes time and risks missing key details, like arrivals or unpaid balances. Custom Reservation tabs solve this: each team saves its own view once and returns to it instantly, boosting efficiency and tailoring the interface to how every department actually works.
2. Run multiple channel managers at once
We understand that WuBook and Channex each offer different channel coverage, so hotels previously had to pick one and lose access to the other's channels. This update allows hotels to connect both WuBook and Channex at the same time:
- ● Access each CM's own channel list, since coverage differs between the two
- ● Reach more channels overall by combining both connections
- ● Eliminates the need to switch connections back and forth
This approach was designed to let hotels benefit from both platforms simultaneously, without the administrative overhead of managing a single connection at a time.
3. Bulk actions in Housekeeping - clear more rooms, faster
On busy changeover days, housekeeping staff often need to update many rooms with the same status at once, for example marking a whole block as cleaned after checkout. Previously, this meant selecting and updating each room individually, adding unnecessary clicks and time during the busiest part of the day.
The Housekeeping grid now supports multi-select, letting staff apply the same update to several rooms in one action instead of room by room:
- ● Select multiple rooms at once and update their status together
- ● Cuts down on repetitive clicks during high-turnover periods
- ● Especially useful when a whole block needs the same treatment at the same time
Also in this release:
- ● Smoother monthly rate view - clearer dropdowns and text make rate management faster.
- ● Faster hotel data-deletion - demo data now clears much quicker when setting up a property.
- ● Cleaner platform under the hood - removed an obsolete flag; the guest-facing "show room request" option is now always on.
