Booking Engine and Guest Facing Updates 3.30.0: Enhanced service ordering, comprehensive check-in/out details

We’re excited to share the latest updates to the Booking Engine and Guest-Facing platforms, designed to make the guest journey smoother, more transparent, and more engaging.

What’s new for hoteliers?

1. Service Booking with Linked Resources for Kiosks and other devices

To increase convenience and clarity when booking resource-based services (such as spa rooms or sports facilities), guests can now easily reserve services with specific linked resources directly from the guest-facing device using a resource scheduler.

The interface now provides full information on a separate page, including descriptions, options, costs, and more. On the checkout page, guests can view and/or edit the date and time, extras (if selected), and location of the event.

2. Clear Display of Check-in/Check-out Times for Guests

Check-in and check-out times are now clearly shown next to reservation dates in the My Trips section on both the Booking Engine and Guest-Facing. This reduces confusion and improves trip planning for guests.

3. Improvements to Existing Features

  • ● Optional services in packages are no longer added by default to the total price or cart.
  • ● Validation prompts for selecting a date and time will only appear when a guest tries to add a service to the cart without providing them.
  • ● Room types now appear above the room list in a horizontally scrollable format for faster navigation.
  • ● The image slider is replaced by a clear “See all images” button for better visual clarity.
