1. E-invoice update to version 1.08
Stay compliant effortlessly! Our e-invoice system is now updated to version 1.08, effective from 15 January 2026. The update ensures that all e-invoice files meet the latest standards, with improved XSD and Schematron files for full compliance.
2. Enhanced DATEV reports
Get clearer financial insights with improved DATEV exports. Reports now distinguish between receipts and invoices and display actual receipt text instead of static Buchungstext.

3. Safe handling of terminal payments
Hotels can safely cancel or retry payments without affecting billing or services. No more stuck invoices! Payments via HotelFriend terminals will no longer block your workflow in case of timeouts, network issues, or device shutdown.
4. Booking Engine & Booking Engine Pro improvements
Booking Engine now handles more scenarios and offers accurate pricing
● Service visibility. All services are now displayed in the Booking Engine, regardless of current availability. Guests can easily see when services are available in the service calendar.

● Improved pricing logic. The API now handles more combinations of adults, children, and children’s ages. Price caching ensures accurate pricing in the calendar while improving performance.
● Dynamic rates & restrictions. Booking calculations for BE Pro sources are now fully optimized, offering complete support for dynamic rates and restrictions.


5. Resource & Event Management enhancements
Event operations and reporting are now more reliable and professional
● Strict time synchronization. Orders and event activities now update automatically and remain perfectly in sync, with resource conflicts validated to prevent overbooking.
● IProfessional reporting. Function Sheets, Event Day Reports, and PDFs now feature a cleaner, more readable layout.
● Long text field improvements. Increased width and optimized height of text fields improve readability and layout consistency in event forms.

6. Communication & Email improvements
Smarter messaging, fewer mistakes. Email placeholders now adapt based on recipient type (guest or reservation). Users only see relevant options in the email modal, making communications faster, simpler, and more accurate.
