Leipzig, Germany, October 2025 – HotelFriend is excited to announce two major integrations with HotelPlatform and Seam – powerful API solutions that enable hotels to connect with dozens of door lock providers and smart access systems, including leading brands such as Assa Abloy (Tesa) and Salto Space.
With these integrations, HotelFriend users can now manage key cards, PIN codes, mobile keys, and smart locks from multiple brands – all through the HotelFriend platform.
Extensive keycard support with HotelPlatform
Through the integration with HotelPlatform, hotels can now easily manage a wide range of keycard and PIN-based locking systems. HotelPlatform supports encodable key card solutions from industry leaders like Assa Abloy (Tesa) and Salto Space, as well as Dormakaba, Häfele, Hotek, Messerschmitt, Onity, VingCard, and others.
Encoding can be done via USB or LAN encoders, ensuring smooth integration with existing on-site infrastructure. This gives hotels the freedom to continue using their preferred lock hardware while improving the way keys and guest access are managed through HotelFriend PMS.

Smart access made simple with Seam
The integration with Seam brings smart access technology into the HotelFriend environment. Seam acts as a universal API that connects to hundreds of smart locks, callboxes, and access systems across major global brands such as August, Yale, Schlage, Igloo, Kwikset, Nuki, and TTLock.
Through Seam, hotels can remotely unlock doors, set and manage access codes, and receive real-time entry events. All of this can be controlled through the Seam Dashboard or seamlessly integrated with HotelFriend PMS. By abstracting the technical differences between brands, Seam allows hotels to manage a wide variety of devices through a single interface.
