What’s new for hoteliers?
1. More options for the Check-In/Check-Out report
We've introduced new options within the Reports module, specifically targeting the Check-In/Check-Out report, located in the Daily list tab. Now, you have the flexibility to generate reports based on your preferred parameters:
- ● Calculate by guest: Reflects the actual number of guests added to the Guest section in the booking.
- ● Calculate by accommodation: Displays the number of guests specified in the Accommodation section of the booking.
This update eliminates the need to create more guest profiles, allowing hoteliers to specify just the number of occupants per room and ultimately streamlining operations.
2. Enable or disable the Room Information section in email templates
Managing Room Information in email templates has become easier. With a simple toggle, you can choose whether to include or exclude Room Information from both "Booking Confirmation" and "Welcome" emails.
Responding to client feedback, this enhancement gives you greater control over communication with guests, ensuring that they receive clear and timely information about room allocations.
3. Improved usability for managing Early Check-Ins and Late Check-Outs
We've enhanced the user experience for managing Early Check-In and Late Check-Out options within bookings.
Now, with a simple click on a checkbox, hoteliers can effortlessly add or remove these services directly from the booking details modal, streamlining the process of modifying accommodation preferences.
4. Introducing automatic room assignment
Introducing a new automation feature: "Automatic room assignment." This feature automatically assigns reservations that came from Channels and Booking Engine to available rooms within the selected room type.
By streamlining the room allocation process, this automation saves time and ensures optimal room utilization, improving overall operational efficiency.
5. Bug fixes and enhancements
- ● Fixed an issue where the Cancellation Policy disappeared when extending bookings at the front desk. Now, the policy remains intact, providing users with consistent and reliable booking management.
