This update is all about making your daily tasks faster and smoother. We’ve improved DATEV exports, added the much-requested Seam Door Lock integration, made it easier to edit prices with flexible date ranges in Room Rates, and more.
What’s new for hoteliers?
1. Improvements in Accounting with new DATEV export options
We have introduced a new DATEV export for invoiced positions and DATEV export report that includes debtors with both positions and payments. This makes it easier to prepare complete exports that include all relevant financial data.
All DATEV reports are grouped in a single dropdown selector within the accounting section. Previously, they were spread across different tabs, so this change simplifies navigation and makes the export process faster.
Payment receipt numbers are now stored in order sessions. These numbers are also included in DATEV exports as document identifiers, making it easier to track and reference individual payments.
2. Better workflows with UI enhancements
We have also made a few usability improvements:
● The Copy button interface was improved across the system to provide consistent and clear feedback whenever text is copied.
● In the Update Selected Prices modal in Room Rates, you can now edit not only the prices but also the date range. This allows for more flexible and convenient price management when making adjustments.
3. Complete booking confirmations with Google Maps links
Booking confirmation emails now support an optional Google Maps link. Guests can use this link to easily locate the property. Hoteliers can enable this option in Communication settings by turning on the “Show Google Maps link” toggle in the Booking Confirmation email template.
4. Smoother handling of company bookings and Resource Maps
When creating a company booking, the company field is now required. This ensures that reservations remain classified as company bookings and do not default to individual guest bookings if the company name is missing.
Newly added companies now appear correctly in group booking cards, fixing an earlier issue where they were missing.
The Resource Map now makes it easier to add orders. The resource type filter is selected automatically, and the chosen resource is pre-assigned when creating an order. This speeds up the process of adding reservations directly from the Resource Map.
5. Minor fixes and visual improvements
- ● Hotelfriend Billing: Removed Google Hotels and Feratel from Distribution Channels category (available under Integrations instead)
- ● Fixed an error on the Orders page for Department users
- ● Fixed a bug when saving services with a deleted “Wait Minutes” value
- ● Removed seconds from order dates for a cleaner display
- ● Removed global search permission for the housekeeper role
- ● Fixed missing task descriptions after selecting a template
