Product Updates v. 4.20: Spain Fiscalization (Veri*Factu), Clearer Payment Reporting, Improved Booking Accuracy & Portal Usability Enhancements

This release focuses on helping hoteliers stay fully compliant with Spain’s latest fiscal regulations, while also improving payment transparency and making daily tasks easier across the Portal. With seamless Veri*Factu & TicketBAI integration, clearer Adyen settlement reporting, smarter booking validation, and enhanced order handling, these updates streamline operations and ensure your PMS stays reliable, compliant, and simple to use every day.

1. Full Integration with Veri*Factu + Support for TicketBAI

Spanish hotels must follow strict fiscal and anti-fraud rules when issuing invoices. With this update, the PMS now fully supports Veri*Factu, the national tax-compliance system required under Regulation HAC/1177/2024.

Why this is important

Veri*Factu requires invoices to follow a strict format, including:

● Structured XML

● Digital chaining (hash) to prevent changes

● Timestamping

● QR-code generation

● Secure archiving

Our system now handles all these steps automatically. It takes the invoice data from the PMS, formats it according to the law, and sends it directly to the Spanish Tax Authority (AEAT) in real time.

Hotels in the Basque Country are also covered, as we support TicketBAI.

New PMS Fields for Spanish Hotels

● Validated Tax ID (NIF/NIE) added to the guest profile

- Required only when the hotel uses Veri*Factu and the guest’s country is Spain
- Optional for all other hotels

● Full connection and setup flow has been completed

These updates ensure your invoices always meet Spain’s fiscal requirements.

(Fix for ENTERCUST-558)

● Total Commission (Adyen)
A new field showing the processing fees charged per transaction.
This makes it easier for accounting teams to understand payment costs and reconcile payout reports.

3. Usability & Portal Improvements

Reservation & Booking Enhancements

Updated labels for better clarity:

- “PIN-Code” → “Access Code” (English)
- “Passwort” → “Buchungscode” (German)
(Fix for ENTERCUST-497)

● Prevented creation of reservations with 0 adults and 0 children in Quick Booking. Every booking must now include at least one guest.

These improvements help avoid confusion and eliminate incorrect reservations.

4. Other Improvements

Service Orders – Delivery Date Required

For unscheduled services, hoteliers must now select a delivery date when confirming or editing an order.

If the date is missing, the system highlights the field and prompts the user to fill it in.

This ensures service orders are always clear, trackable, and ready for proper execution.

We hope these updates help you save time and manage operations more efficiently. Stay tuned — more improvements are on the way!
