The latest portal updates available from 07.05.2018 include the following developments:

🔵 Improved design of the email notification about booking confirmation (when the guest books a room or a deal from the web, they receive notification that their request will be processed within 48 hours, and after the hotel approves the booking, the guest will receive mail with booking confirmation):

🔵 Improved Cancellation and Prepayment Policies configurations - flexible setup for those Policies for room rates:

🔵 Possibility of choosing Cancellation and Prepayment Policies in the room rates that will be applied only to bookings created according to the certain room rate:

🔵 Added type of payment “Money transfer”:

🔵 Added check-in history - all the changes (what was added, canceled, changed, approved and by whom) can be found in the booking card in the “Change history” block:

🔵 Added Department translation - the user can translate Departments to one of the 14 languages while creating them or editing - it will help foreign guests to navigate the system while placing orders:

🔵 The main hotel currency is now displayed in all mails sent to the guest (currency can be set in the hotel settings).

🔵 Department manager receives reminder about the services that should be done within next 15 minutes. This reminder has a link to the actual order.

🔵 Every tab on the guest card (bookings, orders, payment, invoices) can be sorted, so you will be able to navigate the guest history of orders and payments easily:

🔵 Improved room category settings as well as added occupancy setting:

🔹 Default Occupancy - default number of guests (for example, 2 guests per double room).

🔹 Max Occupancy - maximum number of guests according to fire safety regulations.

🔹 Max Adult (optional) - maximum number of adults for this room type - can be used while counting the residing cost based on room rates.

🔹 Max Children (optional) - maximum number of children for this room type - can be used while counting the residing cost based on room rates.

🔹 For changing occupancy settings in every room category the user should open the editing mode of the room rates to save all changes.

🔵 Improved Room Rate settings:

🔹 Possibility of adding price for the additional guest in every room category and room rate.

🔹 Possibility of establishing the cost for every children category indicated in the hotel settings.

🔹 Improved residing cost counter while creating a booking based on the Room Rate. The system will find available room categories with maximum adults and children occupancy indicated by the user, and count the residing cost of every created room rate.

🔵 Improved setting of the catering cost:

🔹 The cost of the catering of every type (breakfast, half board, full board, all inclusive) can be set in the hotel settings.

🔹 One or few types of catering can be set in the room rate, and this will be included in the total accomodation price of every guest.

🔹 While creating a reservation, you can choose one of the available accommodation and catering types (total value will be summarized automatically based on the chosen catering per day and guest).

🔵 Possibility of adding and editing of seasonal prices for every Room Rate. They are organized in the in the separate tab “Seasons” in the menu item “Room Rates”:

🔵 Possibility of choosing an age of every child while doing a reservation:

🔵 For accelerating the booking process the current date is chosen automatically as check-in date, the default number of people is 2, reservation source is reception. In the process of booking those settings can be changed, but they will be set up automatically as the most frequent:

🔵 Added Live Chat for the connection with Support Department of Hotel Friend (menu item in the Help section).
